Alexia is a soul & country blues vocal powerhouse out of SETX and is a breath of fresh air to the music industry with her sultry, feminine vibe.
She is known for her passionate, stirring vocals paired with a fresh songwriting style which captivates the audience from the very first song. The raw power of her voice, along with her fierce vocal gymnastics keep everyone on the edge of their seats, while her saucy banter with the audience throughout the show leave them wanting more.
Alexia recorded her first single, “More Trouble” with producer Mark Neill of Soil of the South Productions in August 2023 (release date pending). You might recognize Mr. Neill’s work behind Charley Crockett and The Black Keys, among other hit artists he’s produced during his epic career. Alexia and Mark plan to release her first album in 2024, hitting the mainstream airwaves with a truly unique sound, blending Alexia’s signature spunk, soul & blues upbringing, country backbone, and Mark’s iconic old-school vintage sound, which may be hard to categorize but certainly easy to indulge.
On stage, Alexia is backed by her team of veteran musicians: Sean Halley on guitar, Erick Tat on drums, Coby Michalek on bass, and Dhruv Kulkarni on keys.
Over the last 15 years, Alexia has been the supporting act for various national acts, including Clay Walker, Tracy Byrd, Clint Black, Neal McCoy, Mat Kearney, Locash, and Zona Jones. She has been a featured artist on multiple media outlets, with frequent radio, TV, and magazine interviews over the years. You can catch her performances all over the Texas Hill Country, including her residency at the historic Sternewirth Tavern at the Hotel Emma in San Antonio. She is also a recurring guest on the Great Day SA Morning Show on the KENS 5 news network.
Alexia graduated from Texas A&M in 2017 with a liberal arts degree in Music Performance, with concentrations on voice, piano, and guitar. She met her husband on her first day of class at A&M, and they were married in the Bahamas in December 2017. When she’s not performing, writing, or recording, Alexia is most likely with her family and friends, probably choosing fun over sleep. She loves Jesus, her people, spontaneous travel and outdoor adventures, gardening, scuba diving, making fancy cocktails, and cooking elaborate meals with her sous-chef-husband, Patrick.
